An Eaton, Colorado woman is dead following a rollover accident five miles south of Gillette Tuesday afternoon.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 83-year-old Deloris Clutter was in the backseat of a pickup that was towing a camper trailer, when the driver, 77-year-old John Mills of Casper, failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 50 and rolled multiple times.

Clutter was wearing her seat belt, but died on scene.

Mills and another passenger, 44-year-old Julie Carpenter of Gillette, were wearing their seat belts and were taken to Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette where they both were hospitalized.

The Patrol says distracted driving may have contributed to the crash. Currently, no charges have been filed.
