Some of the pre-rodeo events at Frontier Park, include what is called the Slack Rodeo. This includes tie down roping, barrel racing, team roping and more. If you're looking for something fun and relaxing to do in the early mornings this week, head on down to Frontier Park for the action to been seen at Chute 9. The events are FREE and gives you a good idea on what to expect during the rodeo events during Cheyenne Frontier Days - the last full week in July.

  • Thursday - July 16: Tie Down Roping, Steer Roping Slack at 7 a.m.
  • Friday - July 17: Shoot Out Cinch Rodeo from 12:15 - 4 p.m.
  • Monday - July 20: Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping Slack at 7 a.m.
  • Tuesday - July 21: Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping Slack at 7 a.m.
  • Wednesday - July 22: NO SLACK
  • Thursday - July 23: Steer Wrestling, Team Roping Slack at 7 a.m.
  • Friday - July 24: Steer Wrestling, Team Roping Slack at 7 a.m.
