Have you ever attended a Pow Wow?

The 39th Annual Denver Pow Wow hits the Denver Coliseum this weekend, March 22-24.

The Grand Entry kicks off the festivities at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, and throughout the weekend enjoy storytelling, ceremonial dancing, shopping for Native American arts, crafts and food, drumming, music and singing. Click here for the schedule of events.

The Pow Wow also includes a professional development training seminar, 'Survive and Thrive in Your Work Environment,' at the Denver Holiday Inn East-Stapleton.

You are invited to this annual gathering of Indian peoples celebrating their heritage and culture. The cost is $7 per day, $20 for a three-day pass, $3 for elders who are 60 and older and those 6 and under get in free. Tickets are available at the door. They don't accept checks or credit cards.
