1. Menards - Disclaimer: I'm not particularly handy. But when I do home repair myself it's excruciating to find someone helpful at a home improvement store. Mendards has never let me down, and in a lot of cases helped me through some difficult home improvements.
  2. Little Bear Inn - Worth the drive up north! The only thing better than the food in my experience, is the service. Not only have my waiters and waitresses been polite, they have given excellent food recommendations.
  3. The New WalMart - Love it or hate it, we all find ourselves in a WalMart once in a while. The new WalMart on Livingstone Avenue has been great so far. The checkers are friendly, and I particularly like the pharmacy staff.
  4. Midas Speedee - Love the care my automobile gets at Midas Speedee on Dell Range.  Staff is great, complimentary coffee and a TV to watch while you wait. And the wait usually isn't long.
  5. Albertson's - Maybe I'm a little partial because I do most of my shopping at Alberton's, but they have been very generous to my family. When my wife, a teacher, asked for them to help with a fundraiser they didn't hesitate.

Bonus: Rocky Mountain Carpet Cleaning and Restoration - Last spring the basement flooded in my house. I found out quickly, nearly everyone in my neighborhood had water in their basement. Even though the small staff at Rocky Mountain Carpet Cleaning was swamped with work, they came over promptly, genuinely sympathized with us, and did a great job.
