College football insider Brett McMurphy is reporting that Wyoming has been selected to participate in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl December 22 in Boise.

The report says that Wyoming will match-up against Central Michigan. The Chippewas are 8-4 on the season and finished 2nd in the MAC West. They also concluded the regulars season on a 5 game winning streak.

Tickets for the Friday 2:00 p.m. MST game can be purchased here. Teams will arrive in Idaho Monday, December 18 with activities for them all week. Fans have an opportunity to enjoy a Thursday night party and Friday morning tailgate. More event details can be found here.

We know it's not a Fiesta Bowl appearance like Josh Allen wanted, but we think there's a few reasons to celebrate Wyoming's first trip to the Potato Bowl. Here's a few steps on how to properly celebrate.
