It's a rare occasion, not Halloween, but the fact that Halloween is on a SATURDAY this year!

Quick rant: Every holiday that can potentially be moved to be adjacent to a weekend, should be. Halloween should be the last Friday in October, Independence Day should be the first Friday of July, when the Deceleration of Independence was written, etc...

But I digress...

Halloween is here and with it falling on a weekend, you've got a chance to go all-out this year, party all night, and still have a day to recover from your candy-coma.

Here's 5 places in town that will help you go all-out for the big day!

  1. Spirits Halloween - A seasonal business that opens in the mall, and near 12th & College. They have a huge selection of costumes and accessories, plus party supplies and decorations for inside and outside.
  2. Dan D Party Corner - If you're throwing a HUGE party with many guests, stop at Dan D's on 717 Storey Blvd. They have everything you need to supply a big number of guests.
  3. Family Dollar - There are 3 locations around Cheyenne. Trying to party on a budget can be rough, and there are some great deals on party supplies and candy at Family Dollar.
  4. Party America - Located at 3505 East Lincolnway (In the shopping area next to Murdoch's and Big Lots) this is a great spot to grab costumes and party supplies.
  5. Party Dreams - Located downtown at 112 W. 18th Street, Party Dreams boasts a marquee that says "Halloween Headquarters." So you know it's gotta be good there. Check them out for costumes and party supplies.
