  2. Lose Excess Salt - High Sodium intake can be a disaster for high blood pressure. It can also cause problems to your heart.
  3. Let's Get Physical - A regular routine of exercising is a great way to bring down high blood pressure. Try to ensure that you utilize both strength and aerobic training in your workout.
  4. Lower Your Stress - Reducing stress is good in reducing high blood pressure. Make sure you plan "me time" during the day and week. A time when you rid your mind of the cares of the day and relax. Find a good couch, turn on some soothing music or take a nice bubble bath, lit by candles and some soft music.
  5. Smoking, Alcohol and Caffeine - This can be the "unholy trinity" with many people. Doctors recommend to quit smoking altogether, reduce your alcohol and caffeine intake in order to help reduce blood pressure.
