In case you haven't looked outside all day - there's a lot of new snow. And, Tuesday will see even more snow. Wednesday won't get above freezing, so you know it's going to stick around for a while...

Here's some ideas on how to make the most of a snowy day in Cheyenne!

1. EMBRACE IT! We think that the hill between Cheyenne East High School and Okie Blanchard Stadium is the BEST PLACE TO SLED in town!

2. Grab a hot drink! There's lots of great spots around town to grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa. My favorite is the Paramount Cafe on Capitol Ave!

3. Go Crazy At Redbox! Make it a movie night, catch up on a few films you've been meaning to see from the comfort of your own home.

4. Help your neighbors! Have neighbors that work different hours, or maybe elderly neighbors? I know it takes a lot of effort, but think of how happy they'll be if they came home to a shoveled sidewalk. Plus, they may pay you back sometime!

5. Bake! From a guy who hates cooking - there's something about cold weather outside and a warm kitchen with warm baked goods. If you're up for it and have the ingredients, imagine a warm chocolate chip cookie right now! Bonus - make your kids help!

No matter what you do out there - be safe, give yourself some extra time to get anywhere you're going tomorrow, and remember - it will eventually warm up, even if eventually means June!
