The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just announced their Class of 2015.  Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joan Jett top the latest inductees.  While their enshrinement is long overdue, there's a long list of legendary bands who should have been voted in a long time ago.

This morning, I read an article titled "5 Bands That Should Be in the Hall of Fame".  While all of those bands are certainly worthy, that list is not nearly long enough.  Instead, here's 50 bands that deserve to be enshrined (in alphabetical order):

Alice in Chains, Bad Company, Blue Oyster Cult, Bon Jovi, Boston, The Cars, Cheap Trick, Chicago, The Cure, The Dead Kennedys, Deep Purple, Def Leppard, Dire Straits, The Doobie Brothers, Electric Light Orchestra, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Faith No More, The Guess Who, Iron Maiden, Jane's Addiction, J. Geils Band, Jethro Tull, Journey, Judas Priest, MC5, Megadeth, The Moody Blues, Motley Crue, Motorhead, Mott the Hoople,  Ozzy Osbourne, Pat Benatar, Pantera, The Pixies, The Runaways, Scorpions, Slayer, The Smiths, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, Steppenwolf, The Steve Miller Band, Supertramp, T Rex, Thin Lizzy, Todd Rungren, War, Warren Zevon, Weird Al Yancovic, Yes and the Zombies.
