Five Laramie County governmental entities will hold their final informational meeting on the Specific Purpose Tax Ballot, commonly known as the Sixth Penny Tax, on Wednesday July 11th, according to City of Cheyenne spokesman Scott Smith. He says that meeting will be held at 6pm Wednesday at the Cheyenne Fire and Rescue Fire Training Facility at 7222 Commerce Circle.

Besides the City of Cheyenne, the other four entities include Laramie County as well as the communities of Pine Bluffs, Albin and Burns. Smith said the meeting was planned to give voters one more chance for information on the sixth penny proposals before absentee balloting begins on July 12th. The sixth penny ballot officially goes before voters on August 21, which is also Primary Election Day in Wyoming this year.
