We asked Wyomingites who've used "one of the many online or app-based dating services" to take a web-poll: "Does Wyoming Swipe Right?" The answer is yes.

We mentioned that some don't even read profiles and choose based only on photos. There's also that thing where people are not the same online as in person. We pointed out that until meeting in person, people aren't really dating. There are even some who don't intend to ever actually meet. Do they stay only on the sites and apps just for fun? (Isn't the idea of this larger pool to get out out of the pool faster and get offline?) Maybe those are the ones who are fluent in a whole new lingo exclusive to online dating. It would seem that the better advice would be to not spend much time chatting with any one person online and get out there to meet a.s.a.p.

After mentioning plenty to watch out for, even after a strong opinion that what's online is just not dating in real life, still, those who've never tried online dating are outnumbered by the digital daters 74 to 26 percent.
