Former Miss America - Teresa Scanlan will be spending the day in Albin, Wyoming to help celebrate the town's annual community event. She will be featured in the parade, which begins at 10 a.m. and will make herself available for a meet and greet with the good folks attending. She'll also take pictures with parade goers as well.

If your big on food, then don't miss out on the community supper which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. The cost is about 7 bucks a plate and well worth it. After supper, Ms. Scanlan will kick off the evening with a keynote address.

The event is to help a small town hero named Tim Malm, and those like him, who has suffered severe brain trauma four years ago after a horseback roping accident. The band, Highway 216 will play as part of the night entertainment in conjunction with a live auction to benefit the Albin Community Fund to help support families in need.

Auction Items Include: 1995 ford F150 Truck, Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeos packages, front row seats to University of Wyoming Basketball, Colorado Rockies tickets, 2 years tuition and fees waiver at LCCC and much, much more.
