Saying he’d rather be evicted than take down the stars and stripes, it just so happens his name really is the same as a well-known founding father. Greeley, Colorado's Samuel Adams got a notice from property management about it being on his apartment balcony.

A few things have been pointed out, besides how leases include keeping a balcony clean and attractive, Sam's flag is draped from the top of the railing, which many consider a breach of flag etiquette.

Those who are patriotic may like a story I remember about a man who once had a circumstance where he fought his condo association over flying a U.S. flag over the holiday, and he won! The board of directors had voted 70-30 percent to make him take it down. The homeowners, however, voted 88-12 percent to allow it as long as it was properly hung with respect. Neighbors were also for displaying the flag 365 days per year. Maybe the Greeley man's story will end in a similar fashion.

Do you imagine that  in Wyoming, just to the north of Mister Adams, that majority of homeowners might be even a little more overwhelming?
