At the Jackson Town Square, the 47th annual Boy Scout Antler Auction raised more than $230,000 with antlers collected on the National Elk Refuge.

Staff and volunteers at the National Elk Refuge start collecting antlers as soon as they start dropping in early to mid March. Antlers can be worth some serious bank, as evidenced by this year’s receipt, that is nearly three times the usual amount.
