Every year in July, Cheyenne throws one of the biggest parties in the country. Of course, you can't have a party without beer. Let's raise a toast to the "Daddy of 'Em All", with a six-pack of fun facts about beer cosumption during CFD.

1. According to last year's economic impact report, Cheyenne Frontier Days visitors will spend over $5 million at local bars and restaurants.

2. Another $2 million will be spent at concession stands inside the park.

3. The Washington Post once estimated that 1.5 million beers were consumed in and around the Capital City during CFD.

4. That's the equivalent of 9,090 kegs, or 145,455 gallons; enough beer to fill the pool at the Cheyenne Aquatic Center.

5. The average beer can is 4.5 inches tall. If you were to line up a row of 1.5 million beer cans, it would be approximately 106 miles long; roughly the same distance between Cheyenne and Denver.

6. The CFD Train from Denver is a popular tradition dating all the way back to 1908. One of the biggest reasons for its enduring popularity is free beer. Which might explain why there's a lottery for tickets every year.
