Are you looking for a big Summer party this Labor Day weekend?

Check out A Taste of Colorado 2012 at Civic Center Park in Denver August 31 through September 3.A Taste of Colorado lives up to it's name by offering a wide variety of food to sample, there's also plenty of activities for the entire family including some great live music.

Lou Gramm of Foreigner plays Friday, August 31, at 7:30 p.m. Coming up on Saturday, September 1, in downtown Denver Burton Cummings of the Guess Who plays at 1 p.m. and the Spin Doctors entertain at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, September 2, Head East take the stage at 1 p.m. followed by The Pointer Sisters at 7:30 p.m. And that's just a small sampling of the music you can hear for free.

Entertainment and entry to the festival is free and for $10 you can purchase 15 food-tasting and carnival tickets.

More than 50 food booths will be set up at this year's A Taste of Colorado representing eateries like Mustard's Last Stand, Famous Dave's BBQ, the Monster Grill, Joe's Crab Shack and Bayou Bob's Cajun restaurant.

The festival also features lots of art exhibits and activities for children. The Kids' Zone will have music, magic, clowns and puppets with all kinds of free play equipment and craft activities.

The Raptor Education Foundation will be there too giving presentations with eagles, hawks, falcons and owls.

A Taste of Colorado hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, August 31, on Saturday and Sunday it runs from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Monday, September 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
