The National and state ACT scores are down from last year which was 20.2.  This year, Wyoming earned an average of 20 composite scores.

A composite score is taking the average scores earned in English, math, reading, and science.  Wyoming is one of 19 states that require all their juniors in high school take the ACT.  Wyoming ranked sixth amongst those states for the highest ACT scores, according to ACT.org.

The national average composite score earned is 20.8, which is down as well.
