Adele has topped The Sunday Times’ annual Rich List for musicians aged 30 and under in Britain and Ireland, thanks to an estimated worth of $46 million, the British paper announced today (April 11). Florence Welch and Lily Allen also made the top ten. U2 and Chris Martin, meanwhile, have made strong showings on the Times’ Rich List for musicians over the age of 30, with Bono and co. taking third place, right behind Paul McCartney and composer Andew Lloyd Webber.

Adele, whose album ’21′ was the top-selling disc in the world for two years running, and who last year had a hit with her James Bond theme song ‘Skyfall,’ added $15 million to her fortune in 2012, lifting her to No. 1 on the young person’s tally. Florence + the Machine singer Welch (with a reported worth of $14 million) and Allen ($12 million) placed 5th and tied for 6th, respectively.

U2 as a collective entity earned third place with a combined worth of $800 million, as per the Times, while Martin’s estimated worth and showing on the chart have not yet been revealed. Martin placed out of the top 10, and the full list won’t be released until Sunday, April 21. In the meantime, check out the full top 10 of both tallies here.
