My brother Steve lives in Denver.  He is a huge Aerosmith fan.  Naturally, when I found out that Aerosmith was coming to Cheyenne Frontier Days, I planned on buying him tickets for Christmas.

Yesterday, I went down to the CFD box office to get them.  The lady behind the counter asked me if my brother "liked to party".  Hell yeah, he does.  In fact, last summer, he was kicked out of Aerosmith's concert in Denver for partying a little too hard.  She told me that there are a limited number of reserved seats left for the show, but there's plenty of room right in front of the stage in the "Party Zone".

Sounded like a helluva deal to me, so I bought two tickets.  The total damage was $136 with taxes and fees.  Less than $70 a ticket.  Not too shabby for a band of Aerosmith's caliber, especially so close to the stage.

Then she informed me that the CFD ticket office is offering a special promotion, while supplies last.  For every Aerosmith ticket you buy in the Party Zone, you get a free ticket to the Big and Rich concert.

I'm not a big country music fan, but I know a good deal when I see one.  Sure, I'll take a free pair of Big and Rich tickets.  Now that $136 is looking like a sweet deal.  And I can give those extra tickets to someone else.

Now, all I have to do is keep my brother from getting thrown out of back to back Aerosmith shows.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
