Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James is to visit Cheyenne during Cheyenne Frontier Days 2015.

It will be James second visit to Cheyenne in a little more than a year. She also visited F.E. Warren Air Force Base in June of 2014 to highlight improvements for Air Force members who perform the nation's nuclear mission.

Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Dale Steenbergen says James has a track record of supporting the nation's nuclear programs and the Air Force members who are stationed at F.E. Warren and other nuclear missile bases.

Although James is not expected to arrive in Cheyenne until this weekend, she is scheduled for a phone interview with talk show host Gary Freeman on AM 650 KGAB on Friday morning.

James is not the only high-ranking military official to visit Cheyenne over the next few days. Navy Rear-Admiral Micheal White is also visiting the city for 'Navy Week" this week. He is scheduled to speak at a "Navy Week" kick off event tonight (Tuesday) at the Lion's Park Ampitheatre from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
