The season is over, but the honors haven’t stopped for Wyoming junior Justin James and senior Hayden Dalton.

The two were selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for the All-District 17 team Tuesday. James was named First Team, while Dalton garnered Second Team honors.

James averaged 18.9 points, six rebounds and 3.1 assists per game this past season for the Cowboys. He increased that to 20.8 points per game in conference action. James shot 48 percent from the field and recorded six double-doubles. He scored 20 or more points in all six of those games.

Dalton came in at 17.7 points per game and led the team in rebounding at 7.8 per contest. He knocked down 85 three-pointers for the fifth-most in a single season at UW. Dalton scored 20 or more points in 15 games. He also led the Pokes with eight double-doubles.

The NABC is divided up by college athletic conferences. District 17 covers Mountain West schools.
