American National Bank (ANB) is usually where you go to make withdrawals or deposits. Right now, they, along with Community First Data Services, are asking that you come in to donate non-perishable foods to help Needs Inc. of Cheyenne.

Jon Green, who works for Community First Data Services, a division of the ANB Bank branches, (who used to be our data man  said they’re having a food donation drive to help out Needs Inc. of Cheyenne, who help those who are in need, with food, clothing, and other necessities that many of us might take for granted.

When school is in session, there are programs to help feed these children.  Now that school is out of session, these kids are still going to need help with food supplies to get them through the summer months, which is why we’re having our food drive for Needs.”

Jon also explained that the ANB Bank branches have been having fun with this drive, doing various competitions, even taking a pie in the face, like Jon did, all in the spirit of collecting food to help those in the community who need help.

The ANB Bank branches are reaching out to all of us in helping with this drive, and whether you bank at ANB Bank or not, you can still help.  They’re asking that you stop by one of their branches:

ANB Bank branch downtown at 1912 Capitol Avenue

ANB Bank Pershing location at 3355 East Pershing Boulevard

Or their Yellowstone location at 6020 Yellowstone Road. (Yellowstone and Storey)

ALSO:  American National Bank and Community Data Services are having a “Need Food for Needs Food Drive” going on THIS Saturday, June 28th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at King Soopers at 3702 Del Range Boulevard.  While you’re picking up some groceries for your family, you can pick up a few extra items to help struggling families right here in Cheyenne.
