‘Anne of Green Gables’ Presented at LCCC Playhouse May 8 through 10

'Anne of Green Gables' opens at the Laramie County Community College Playhouse on Friday, May 8, and runs through Sunday, May 10.
Performances of 'Anne of Green Gables' begin at 7 on Friday, and Saturday nights and afternoon matinees will be offered at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10 and are available through Brown Paper Tickets.
This production of L.M. Montgomery's famous story was adapted for the stage by Sylvia Ashby and is being presented by special arrangement with Baker's Plays. The story focuses on a young orphan sent to Prince Edward Island to work on a farm, the family had expected a boy to arrive and then a girl named Anne shows up.
'Anne of Green Gables' has been turned into a film, a made-for TV movie and an animated and live action TV series. See it performed at the intimate LCCC Playhouse this weekend.
