Arlo Guthrie’s ‘Alice’s Restaurant’ is November’s ‘Album Side Sunday’

How many times have you hummed a few bars of 'Alice's Restaurant'?

You'll get another chance on 'Your Sunday Brunch' during the 8 a.m. hour we'll play Arlo Guthrie's classic from 1967 along with 'The Motorcycle Song (The Significance of the Pickle).'

'Alice's Restaurant Massacree' has become a Thanksgiving tradition as the true story takes place on the holiday in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.Guthrie's autobiographical saga of littering, getting arrested and avoiding the draft has inspired generations. This year, Arlo Guthrie's wife, Jackie Guthrie, died on October 14.

Arlo has decided it's 'Time to make the doughnuts' again, so he's hit the road and will play in Boulder, Colorado on March 30, 2013.
