Historic Woodstock Sign to Be Saved Thanks to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Campaign

Finally, there’s a chance for the fans who crashed the gate at the original Woodstock music festival to make up for not buying tickets to the legendary three-day event in August 1969.

A historic sign from the festival’s site in Bethel, N.Y., is in bad shape, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is behind a campaign to raise the $24,000 needed for its restoration.

The Who to Release ‘Quadrophenia’ Boxed Set, Possible Tour to Follow?

The Who‘s ‘Quadrophenia’ is about to get a whole lot bigger.

The double-album rock opera from 1973 will be re-released in November as part of a boxed set compiled by Who guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend, who says he and singer Roger Daltrey may perform ‘Quadrophenia’ next year on tour.

Daltrey will perform the rock opera "Tommy" this Fall, the tour hits the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on Sunday, October 16.
