Beware of Dangerous Icicles Hanging Over Your Head

Are there icicles hanging from your roof?

With abundant sunshine in Cheyenne today, icicles grew longer and longer off the edges of windows and roof tops. Temperatures were still below freezing though, so those long shiny daggers will not be gone any time soon.

Be careful as you're walking below overhangs as the solar heat from the sunshine can loosen those icicles and they can come crashing down on you.

The forecast for the remainder of this week calls for colder temperatures so we'll most likely be seeing less icicles and more of our breathes.
