Bike Lane Striping Work Underway This week

Cheyenne city crews will be working on a bike lane striping project this week (June 8th).

The new lanes will be put in on Carey and Pioneer between Lion's Park and West Lincolnway. The lanes will eliminate on-street parking over a few blocks of the project but not the entire route.

Areas where on-street parking will end include Pioneer just north of Pershing and the west side of  Carey between 6th and 8th avenues. On the east side of Carey on-street parking will be eliminated between 1st and 6th avenues.

If weather doesn't interrupt the work it's expected to wrap up by the end of next week
