As part of the End Times tour, Billy Corgan is offering up a VIP Experience for die-hard fans, which includes a meet and greet and special question and answer session with the Smashing Pumpkins leader. During the course of a recent Q&A session, one of the participants threw out a doozie concerning Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain.

"Do you think Courtney killed Kurt," the audience member asks, followed by a mixture of uneasy laughter and slight gasps. "Are you legitimately asking me this question here," Corgan replies.

"If you'd care to answer it," the questioner spews back. "No, I don't care to answer it 'cause I think its -- what does that have to do with me?"

"You started off talking about inter-band rivalry and then we got to conspiracy theory," Corgan continues. Trying to collect his thoughts, the audience member then quickly changes topics asking him if he considers himself "grunge."

"No. Never did. I use the term loosely because it defines an era. That was a Seattle word that we got pasted with." You can watch the exchange in the video above.

This conspiracy theory has made the rounds off and on for several years, but has been re-ignited thanks to the recent documentary Soaked in Bleach, which brings up these questions once again. in the meantime, Love has filed a cease and desist order against the film.
