If there's one thing people the world over dislike, it's being left hanging.

Two hundred skiers at a resort in Italy needed to be rescued after they got trapped in their  cable cars when a tree fell on some power lines.

Rescue crews in helicopters 80 feet above were dispatched to the scene to save some 200 people. They had reportedly been in the cars for several hours while they endured harsh winds of up to 80 miles per hour.

There are no reported injuries.
