Update: In addition to the final U.S. shows, Black Sabbath's final shows ever have been confirmed to take place in the UK, with their touring career ending Feb. 4, 2017, in their hometown of Birmingham. See the dates below.

It truly is 'The End' for Black Sabbath. The band embarked on their final tour earlier this year, and now they have announced their final U.S. shows. Additionally, it appears that their last shows ever will take place in the United Kingdom where it all began.

With the second leg of their North American trek set to kick off Aug. 17 in Wantagh, N.Y., the legion of doom have added three November dates, marking the definitive final performances in the United States. These three performances are set to take place on Nov. 8, 10 and 12 in Tulsa, Okla.; Houston and San Antonio, respectively. Immediately following these dates, Sabbath will venture South, hitting Mexico and South America.

The Birmingham metal progenitors have been reluctant to announce their final-ever performances, with many speculating they'll return home and close it out in the U.K. where it began nearly 50 years ago. However, Flyers (seen below) depicting Black Sabbath's last ever shows have reportedly been circulated through Donington Park where the Download Festival will begin tomorrow, June 10. Among the seven 2017 dates are two hometown Birmingham shows that will presumably signal the very end of Black Sabbath's final tour.

Guitarist and founder Tony Iommi recently reflected on 'The End' tour, telling the Guardian, “It particularly hit me in Australia. I thought: ‘Blimey. This is it. We’re never going back.’ It’s very emotional. But it doesn’t mean we won’t play together any more, we’re just stopping touring. Well, I’m not doing any more. They [Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler] might be (laughs).”
