Bob Seger Contemplating Touring [VIDEO]

A video at www.bobseger.com teases that he may hit the road this year. A short video plays a medley of Seger songs and photos and in the middle a U.S. map appears with some states highlighted, then a countdown and explosion with the words "Stay Tuned To BobSeger.com.

Rolling Stone's website lists the highlighted states shown as New York, Ohio, Missouri and Michigan. There was nothing west of the Mississippi on there yet but RS seems to think it's a safe bet that more dates are likely to follow. My wife is keeping her fingers crossed.

Rolling Stone mentions that Seger is also rumored to be working on a new album. His latest release was "Face The Promise" in 2006 and that was the first album of original material to come out in more than a decade.

We'll keep an eye on Seger's website and meanwhile thanks to youtube enjoy an early performance from Largo, Maryland.
