Boise State scored on their first four possessions and beat the Wyoming Cowboys 34-14 Saturday night in Mountain West action from Idaho.

Broncos Q-B Brett Rypien passed for 211 yards and three touchdowns, while Jeremy McNichols added 166 yards and a TD on the ground.

Boise State (6-2, 3-1) led 24-7 at half and added a pair of third quarter scores. That gave the Broncos a 34-7 edge. It was their 10th victory with no defeats against the Cowboys.

Wyoming (1-7, 1-3) was held to a season low 233 yards of offense. Cam Coffman tossed a 15-yard touchdown pass to Jake Maulhardt late in the first half. Nick Smith added a TD run from 6-yards in the fourth quarter.

There was one significant loss for the Pokes. Coffman left the game in the third quarter with an injury to his right shoulder.

One bright spot for the Cowboys was Brian Hill, who surpassed the 1,000 yard mark on the season. He became the ninth player in school history to accomplish the feat and the fastest to reach the plateau in just the eighth game. Hill finished with 76 yards in the game and has 1,061 for the season.

Wyoming will be back in action Friday at Utah State. The game will kick-off at 8:15 p.m.
