Over the weekend, USA Today published an article ranking the Top 5 Most Outrageous Corporate Holiday Parties of all time. If you thought the GoDaddy.com commercials were awesome, you should've been at the company Christmas party a few years ago.

According to the article, several years ago, GoDaddy.com executives rented out Chase Field, the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team, located in downtown Phoenix.  Why would they rent out a major league ballpark for an office party?  Well, if you're gonna hire ZZ Top to play your party, you're gonna need a big venue.

The GoDaddy execs actually invited thousands of their employees, clients and associates, from all over the country, to witness the event.  After ZZ Top's performance, they reportedly opened up the stadium's retractable roof for an elaborate fireworks show.

We're not sure if the GoDaddy execs handed out employee bonuses at that office party, but at least nobody could accuse them of being cheap. If only they had arranged to set up a special copy machine for drunken employees to sit on...
