The Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne is now enrolling children between the ages of 5 and 18 for 2013 memberships, according to spokeswoman Baylie Evans.

She says the regular memberships are $10 for the year. Memberships which include busing from several local schools to the club at 1700 Snyder are available for $20. She says the club offers a wide range of programs and activities focused on three main areas:academic success, healthy living and character and leadership development. Specific programs include mentoring, games and programs focusing on everything from financial literacy to art.

The club is open all regular school days from 2 until 7pm. It's also open on early release days from school and no school days for $5 per day. Evans says anyone interested in a membership should drop by the club on Snyder Avenue and fill out a membership application.
