UPDATE - 1:30 P.M.: Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Dan Long says the three men who tried to rob the Medicap Pharmacy in Cheyenne this morning may be in a white Chevy Lumina. Long says the men were seen in Wheatland in the Lumina before they carjacked a white Ford SUV there. The SUV was believed to have been used in the attempted robbery. It was later found near Old Chicago after being abandoned. Long says the men may now be driving the Lumina, although that isn't known at this time.

UPDATE - NOON: Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Dan Long says three black males, one dressed entirely in black and two wearing green clothing, are wanted in connection with the shootout. Anyone with information is being asked to call 911 immediately.

UPDATE: Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Dan Long says two men attempted to rob the Medicap Pharmacy a little before 11 a.m. Long says the two exchanged shots with a pharmacy employee before leaving the area. Long says a pharmacy employee was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries. It isn't clear at this point whether either of the robbers was wounded in the shootout.

There are reports of a shooting this (Thursday) morning at the Medicap Pharmacy off of Bluegrass Circle in north Cheyenne.
