Get Hooked on winter fun at the annual Saratoga Lake Ice Fishing Derby. Held annually on the third weekend of January every year since 1983, at Saratoga Lake in Saratoga, Wyoming.

This year anglers will compete for over $6,000 in guaranteed cash prizes and up to $35,000 in additional prizes.

You could net $2000 cash for First Place, $1000 cash for Second and $500 cash for Third Place.

Someone may land the whale of a prize with one of three specially marked Trophy Fish, collectively worth up to $35,000, if caught during the two-day tournament hours. The tagged fish could be worth $20,000 or $10,000 or $5,000!

While hourly cash awards of $100 will be awarded for the largest fish measured that hour, the real payoff is being in the great outdoors of one of the most beautiful areas in America and taking advantage of world class fishing that people from around the globe to experience. For you, it’s right outside your back door!

 

Hours of the two-day derby are on Saturday, January 21 from 7 am to 5 pm and Sunday January 22 from 7 am to 2 pm.

$35—ADULT FISHERMAN
$10—SMALL FRY FISHERMAN     (under age 14)
Note: A Small Fry Fisherman may enter as an Adult Fisherman and be eligible for those prizes,  but would not be eligible for any of the Small Fry pay outs.
