Capital City Bowl Poll Results: Only 3% Pick Cheyenne Central To Beat East Friday Night

The results of our (completely unscientific) Capital City Bowl poll are in and only 3 percent of local football fans think Cheyenne Central will upset East on Friday night.

Nearly 84% of voters predict the #3 ranked Thunderbirds will blow out the Indians. Almost 13% think Central will keep it close, but eventually lose.

Here's some solace for Central fans. Even though East has won 7 of the last 8 games in the series, the Indians still lead the all-time series 43-24.

Meanwhile, it's rivalry week across the Cowboy State. In Casper, #2 Natrona and #4 Kelly Walsh meet in the Oil Bowl. Top ranked Sheridan looks to end their five-game losing streak in the Energy Bowl against the recently depleted Campbell County program.

In 3A, #2 Douglas and #3 Torrington will battle for the top seed in the East while 5th ranked Rawlins travels to Riverton.
