Eastern Wyoming College's board of trustees has named Dr. Lesley Travers of Casper as its new president, according to a news release from the college Thursday.

"This is the realization of a huge dream and I am humbled and honored to be chosen as Eastern Wyoming College’s President," Travers said in the prepared statement.

Travers begins her job July 1.
