The streets are clearing, hotels are getting back in order and Cheyenne is getting back to its small town vibe. Cheyenne Frontier Days bring out many different feelings, hate, love, excitement, memories and more.

It was very cloudy early in the morning and then a huge hail storm came through in late afternoon. The weather between 10am-3pm was perfect for the ANG Open House, home of the 153rd Airlift Wing. The event opened up with the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. As they put on displays in the sky for the spectators for about a hour.

2018 marks the 65th anniversary of the first United States Air Force Thunderbirds show at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Her name is Leslie Tom, she came up from Denver, Colorado. Leslie has been performing for about 14 years, for the past 3 years she made it a goal for herself to perform at CFD. That dream came true as she sang before one of her all time favorite artist, Charlie Daniels.

Come and hang out this Wednesday, July 18th from 11am-2pm at the Depot Plaza and get some great food. This 4th annual event is not only to get people out, having fun and eating. It is also for people to learn a little more about the United Way of Laramie County.

They will offer lessons for all types of instruments. Guitars, bass, drums. ukulele, voice and a whole lot more. They don't want to focus on the performing side of entertainment, the Dunleavy's want to teach the business side as well. Their goal is to produce local talent to perform locally. Paul and Heather hope to take advantage of the Lincoln Theater and utilize it as much as possible.

For decades, the Wednesday during CFD has been an unofficial holiday in the Capital City.
