Christine Katien (pictured with our own Chuck, Coop & Grateful Mike) won a VIP Beartrap pass for herself and a friend. This music and more festival in the meadow on the mountain is celebrating it's 20th anniversary this weekend with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as headliners.
Have you ever seen any theatre performed in the park?
Shakespeare in the Park is very popular during the warm summer months and Wednesday, July 30, the Wyoming Shakespeare Festival Company will present Friedrich Schiller's 'Mary Stuart' at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens.
On Saturday night, Cheyenne Frontier Days rounded out the night shows with a final performance by Tim McGraw---but before he took the stage, they announced two big acts coming to the Daddy of 'Em All in 2015. Country crooners Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert will be two of the acts we anticipate seeing next year.
Clint Combs is the chief cook and bottle washer at Curly Cue Camp at Cheyenne Frontier Villiage. The camp is out of Las Vegas and they are cooking up real frontier favorites on the open pit for all the volunteers at Cheyenne Frontier Days
Yesterday night Dierks Bentley performed on the Red Rocks stage to a sold out crowd. John Pardi, Chase Rice and Chris Young opened the show with a variety of pyrotechnics, styles and witty anecdotes for the crowd.
Tuesday night, as the final day of the Championship Professional Bull Riding came to a close, Elsie and Clyde Frost walked into the middle of the arena with the World Champion belt buckle in hand. They then presented it to Sage Kimzey, the 2014 Champion. The crowd erupted in roars.
