Actor Jeff Conaway Dead at 60

'Grease' and 'Taxi' star Jeff Conaway died Friday after falling into a coma two weeks ago, TMZ is reporting. He was 60.

Conaway was known for his role as Kenickie in the 1978 movie-musical 'Grease.' From 1978-1981, he also played Bobby Wheeler on the sitcom 'Taxi,' earning a Golden Globe nomination along the way before leaving the series after its third season.

Former Michigan Star and NBA Player Robert ‘Tractor’ Traylor Dead at 34

According to multiple reports, former Michigan basketball star and NBA player Robert 'Tractor' Traylor was found dead Wednesday on the bedroom floor of his apartment in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. He was 34.

Police said Traylor had been missing for a few days, and that he apparently died of a heart attack. At time of his death, Traylor, a team member for the Bayamon Cowboys, was recovering from a heel injury.

I've known more than a few people who have given up beer for Lent. But a man in Iowa turned the idea around this year and went throughout the entire Lenten season subsisting on nothing but beer (and water). That's 46 days without a bite of solid food.

J. Wilson of the Adams County Free Press in central Iowa told CNN he is an avid Christian, beer drinker and blogger, so giving up solid food in favor of beer seemed like a natural thing to try.

People who sit most of the day have a 54 percent greater risk of heart attack than those who spend a good chunk of the day standing.

Researchers at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Louisiana came to this conclusion after analyzing the lifestyles of more than 17,000 men and women over 13 years.

The scientists found that even non-smokers who exercise regularly and would be considered in good shape double their risk for heart attack if their job requires them to sit most of the time.
