The 16th annual Cowgirls of the West Brunch and Fashion Show offers a unique morning full of shopping, eating and catching up. All proceeds from the event benefit the local Cowgirls of the West Museum, as well as scholarships and events hosted throughout the year.

With two days of professional bull riding ahead of us in terms of night shows, we thought we'd remind you of two fantastic country acts from this weekend. Lady Antebellum (with special guest Clay Walker) and Gary Allan (with special guest Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band) performed to Frontier Days crowds...

If you've ever been to a night show at Cheyenne Frontier Days, you know they're a big deal. Cars line up in the neighborhood, forcing you into a more-than-likely 8-block walk. The PartyZone is shoulder-to-shoulder standing, and the stands quickly fill up...

Sure, once inside the Cheyenne Frontier Days gates, you'll be greeted with Dodge Ram  trucks, the aroma of sizzling sausages and grilled peppers wafting from a nearby vendor, and cowboy gear---hats, boots, skirts, dresses. But did you overlook the fun stuff that's right outside the gates?

I knew the Indian Village was open when I heard the flutes playing. A family moved closer to the center ring to sit on the carved benches. A handful of people were chosen to participate in a performance. And others wandered in and out of the shop fronts, looking at dream catchers, pots, turquoise jewelry and other wares.

It's become some sort of tradition with Cheyenne Frontier Days---offer a little bit of everything in the first two days. Art Show. CINCH Rodeo Shootout event. Rock-n-Roll.

Have you ever been to one of those old-timey shows--where the audience boos, cheers, hisses and claps? In a theatrical performance similar to vaudeville mixed with slap-stick comedy, the Old-Fashioned Melodrama from the Cheyenne Little Theater Players is sure to tickle your funny bone.

After an action-packed two hours, the CINCH Rodeo closed with five new champions and co-team champions--a first for the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo committee.

Cheyenne Frontier Days kicked off the 2014 season with cowboy boots and cocktails at the Thursday night art show. Art lovers rubbed elbows with CFD fans as they wandered through an intimately lit gallery located within the CFD Museum.
