The name 'Branding Iron' is one that's been around Casper for over 30 years. Beginning as a restaurant in downtown Casper, it was later moved out to the west side of town to try and attract more of a steakhouse / dinner crowd. But now it's back in downtown Casper.
It was important to Cheyenne and Wyoming.A place for politics, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Rotary & Kiwanis meetings, weddings and more. It all crashed in 2010.

25 Big Boys were built to haul freight over the Wasatch mountains between Green River, Wy. and Ogden, Utah. Only eight remain. Two of those can be seen in Cheyenne.
