Foo Fighters Rock Denver’s Pepsi Center for Nearly Three Hours [VIDEO]

Were you at the Foo Fighters show Sunday, October 9, at the Pepsi Center in Denver?

Bet you didn't make it to work on Monday morning because the Foo Fighters played until after Midnight, their encore was five songs.

Dave Grohl told the crowd at the beginning of their set that they were going to play for two-and-a-half hours because they have a lot of "*#&@ing songs." And they did, they played all the songs I could think of including; "The Pretender," "Learn To Fly," "Best of You," "Times Like These," "My Hero" and new ones from their Wasting Light album like "Rope" and "Walk."

Attention Planet of the Apes Fans! ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ Hits Theaters [VIDEO]

watch?v=T3tidwW1gGM

Are you a fan of the "Planet of the Apes" movies? The latest film, "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," opens in theaters Friday, August 5.

When the first series of "Apes" movies were released in the 1970's, we couldn't wait to see every one of them at the theaters. I even read the book by Pierre Boulle. The original "Planet of the Apes" movie came out in 1968, starring Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall and Kim Hunter.

The prosthetic makeup techniques, created by John Chambers, were groundbreaking at the time. He won an honorary Academy Award for his outstanding make-up achievements.

Kid Rock Exposed on Opening Night of Cheyenne Frontier Days

Kid Rock (Rick Diamond/Getty) How much do you know about Bob Richie out of Romeo, Michigan?

The audience in the packed arena at Frontier Park Friday night got a peek at Kid Rock's entire life. A video called "The History of Rock," Kid Rock, that is, opened his show. It showed his musical influences since he was born in 1971.

Throughout the setlist, the band played pieces of songs from some of his role models, like Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, the Georgia Satellites, the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and even Stephen Stills. Sheryl Crow joined Kid Rock to sing "Love the One You're With."

Paul McCartney Raps On Buddy Holly Tribute ‘Rave On’

Can you sing any Buddy Holly songs? On a new release called Rave On, a wide variety of artists perform tunes by the rock pioneer.

Sir Paul McCartney pays tribute to one of the Beatles' biggest influences on the cover album out today. He even does some spontaneous "rapping" in parts of the song with his voice altered to where it doesn't even sound like the fab four's bass player, but more like a soulful southern preacher. McCartney's version of "It's So Easy" is easily the stand out track on the record.

Lou Reed's performance of "Peggy Sue" would be a close second, transforming Holly's sweet original into a distorted, mournful song about lost love.
