Senators Introduce Bill To Restore AML Money
A bipartisan group of U.S. senators introduced legislation this week that would restore the money owed to coal producing states from the Abandoned Mine Land (AML) Trust Fund. In June, the House and Senate passed a two-year transportation bill which included a provision that raided trust funds used for reclaiming abandoned mine lands.

Local Military Firefighters Train for Aircraft Fires
Local Military Firefighters Train for Aircraft Fires
Wyoming Air National Guard and F.E. Warren Air Force Base firefighters demonstrated the new Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) Friday. F.E. Warren Fire Chief John McDougall says the MAFT allows firefighters to train locally on how to safely extinguish an aircraft fires. He says in the past, crews had to travel across the country annually to receive the training.
