Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak says he is relieved  and excited to move forward following Tuesday’s overwhelming vote in favor of spending 6th penny sales tax revenues to renovate the old Dineen Car Dealership in Downtown Cheyenne for use as a Public Safety Building.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer that was pulled over during a traffic stop over the weekend was carrying 231 pounds of marijuana worth almost $1.4 million dollars. Sinclair Oil has agreed to pay a $3.8 million dollar fine for exceeding air pollution limits at two of its refineries in Wyoming.
