Celebrate National Public Gardens Day at Cheyenne’s Botanic Gardens

Did you know May 10 is National Public Gardens Day?

Me neither, but I do know a great place to celebrate in Cheyenne is the Botanic Gardens in Lions Park.

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens will be passing out free hardy pumpkin seeds between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the conservatory and at the Paul Smith Children's Village from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. while supplies last.

Take a stroll down the Botanic Gardens western walkway and learn some of the history of our area while enjoying some natural beauty outdoors.

If you're in Lions Park donating to the Day of Giving at the Kiwanis Community House, reward yourself with a visit to one of the most beautiful spots in the city, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens.
