How are you celebrating Wyoming's birthday?

Wyoming was admitted to the union as the 44th state on July 10, 1890, so the 'Cowboy State' is now 121 years old.

At the Historic Governors' Mansion from 1-4 p.m. today, enjoy old-fashioned games like croquet and sack and potato races. See historic characters and hear stories and music from Buffalo Bill Boycott.

Ice cream sandwiches and lemonade will also be served. And while there, you can see the original 44-star flag that was presented to Governor Francis E. Warren by Esther Hobart Morris on July 10, 1890. The Historic Governors' Mansion is located at 300 East 21st Street.
