Cheyenne has several Chinese restaurants and a few donut shops, but there's only one place in town to get an apple fritter and an order of sesame chicken.

After 11 years on the southwest corner of Central and 8th Avenue, Daylight Donuts/Chinese Express is looking for a new location. According to the owner, who took over the business in 2013, the property is being converted for residential use after her lease expires on Dec. 31.

Several businesses have occupied the building over the years, including a photography shop and a Mexican restaurant. With its proximity to Frontier Park and the Cheyenne Regional Airport, a residential complex should be in high demand. Meanwhile, Daylight Donuts/Chinese Express is hoping to find a new venue on Dell Range Boulevard.
