Charter Communications has released a brief statement on the internet service problems experienced by customers across southeast Wyoming.

The company says service was restored to most residential customers shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday, but some businesses were still having trouble.

Charter has established no timeline for a fix, saying only that service would be restored "as quickly as possible."

Here's the full statement from Charter:

Some Charter customers are currently experiencing a network outage impacting Internet service in Laramie, Wyoming. While services for residential customers were restored shortly after 3 p.m., some business customers are continuing to experience interruptions. Charter crews are currently working to restore service as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers.
